EDITORIAL MATTERS:

Welcome to Issue 419 of The Libertarian Enterprise! I thought this was going to be our "Marmoreal Day" edition, and wondered what marble has to do with anything. I mean, I like marble just fine, when I'm rich I'll build a house with marble floors and walls and so on, but then I saw the newspaper, and discovered what I was hearing as "marmoreal" was "memorial"—I'm from Texas and I guess I just hear with an accent or something.

Or something.

On another note, please, Dear Reader, support this Reader Supported Magazine by making a cash donation or clicking on all of those advertiser and affiliate links and buying something so we can earn a bit of a commission. We promise it will be spent on important stuff like electricity, ISP, food, and the like. Note that we will have a very hard time putting out TLE without any of that. Very hard! Donate here:

and the advertiser and affiliate links are throughout.

And let me take this space to say a big THANK YOU! to all of you who have stepped up with your donations and affiliate-link purchases. We appreciate it!

Gun Control = The Final Solution = Back to the Bronze Age
by Andrew G. Eggleston Sr.
I am so tired of hearing that there need to be stricter gun control laws, that the "hug-a-thug" Democrats actually believe that an evil person can be stopped with still another flimsy piece of paper, and that we will all be safer for it.

Giuliani Is Delusional
by Jonathan David Morris
I like how people think Rudy Giuliani won the second Republican presidential debate. I guess that depends on your definition of "won." To me, he only won it if the idea was to look like a fool.

Why Is Democracy Such A Bad Thing?
by Doug Newman
I got an e-mail the other day from someone forming a grassroots lobbying organization. I told him that, while I agreed with the aims of his organization, he was wrong in asserting that "the right of the people peaceably to assemble" was a characteristic of a democracy.

Open Letter to the RNC
by Alan R. Weiss
I support Dr. Ron Paul for President, and I support a G.O.P. that returns to TRUE conservatism - not neo-conservative, empire-maintaining, war-invested disaster.

NONE OF THE ABOVE Always Gets My Support
by Jim Davidson
People persist in asking me for whom should they vote. I strongly believe that if you are voting for any incumbent, you are making a grave error, which is likely to be deadly to many, disastrous to private property, and beneficial only to graft and corruption. In the case of nearly every challenger I've ever scrutinized closely, the same is true. There are a few exceptions, but they are indeed rare.
