THE CURRENT ISSUE

EDITORIAL MATTERS:

Ah, my goodness! Hasn't American politics become a complete parody of itself these days? It's like one of those awful "reality" game shows on the tea vee, except less funny. Much, much less funny.

Well, they never promised us a rose garden. Ok, they did, but they was a-lying.

Scott Bieser's "The Last Sonuvabitch of Klepton, Part 11" has been delayed until next week. Just one of those things, couldn't be helped. Y'all know how that goes.

Speaking of how things go, this here little magazine is Reader Supported, so if you, the Reader, can spare a bit of your hard- earned cash towards our support, we'll be happy and pleased to accept. Here are the ways:

Open letter to Libertarians
by Steve Kubby
This weekend, US Representative Ron Paul announced his intention to "scale back" his campaign for the Republican Party's 2008 presidential nomination, acknowledged that he is unlikely to win that nomination, and expressly ruled out seeking the nomination of the Libertarian Party or another "third" party.

Go, Ron Go!
by James J Odle
I have to confess, I am finding the Ron Paul campaign and the Ron Paul Revolution (1) fascinating. The blimp! The You-tube videos! The in-your-face, we have a Constitutional right to free speech attitude of its participants!

Drop The Bomb!
The Kaptain's Log

by Kaptain Kanada, aka Manuel Miles
On Monday the 18th of February, "Presidents Day", the day after this article appears, another Ron Paul "money bomb" fund raiser is scheduled. Please make sure that it drops with a blast heard 'round the world; don't let it be a dud. All those who long for peace, prosperity and liberty should do all that they can to make this a success.
