THE CURRENT ISSUE

EDITORIAL MATTERS:

Beginning this issue we have changed our subtitle from "A FEATURE OF NetPlanetNews.com" (since we couldn't muster the resources for doing that) to "Official Journal of the National Recall Coordinating Committees". We are not giving up our current mission to bring you things to think about from a libertarian point of view, but simply expanding what we do to include rallying the efforts of the National Recall Coordinating Committees. See "Waking from the Nightmare" by L. Neil Smith for more about that. And stay tuned here.

We are a Reader-Supported publication. Become a Supporter yourself by making a donation:

In England, one of those weeks has just ended that define an entire period. This is no consolation for those who have suffered, and who may yet suffer worse. But I have no doubt that it is worth describing what has happened and trying to explain what it means.

Federal Stimulus Package: Creating Jobs Will Not Fix The Economy
by Russell D. Longcore
President Obama continues to prove to enlightened observers that he knows almost nothing about economics. So far, if there are two choices from which to choose, he and his Administration choose the one that causes the most destruction for America.

Happy Birthday Chuck
by A.X. Perez
Charles Darwin's birthday was last week and God bless him. It so happens I am a Christian (not a very good one, I'm afraid) who opines in favor of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution through natural selection. It is interesting to see the number of people who have issues with this combination of opinions.
