The Waco Butchers Are Back
by Anthony Gregory
Sixteen years ago we were reminded of the deadly danger of
having the left-liberals in charge of the police state. The largest massacre
of American civilians by the US government since Wounded Knee climaxed on
April 19, 1993. The siege that had begun on February 28 with a botched ATF
publicity stunt ended when the Branch Davidian church and home went up in
flames, after an FBI-operated tank on lease from the military was driven
through the building, pumping flammable CS gas for six hours into the
place where women and children were cowering in fear. Chemistry professor
George Uhlig later testified that the high concentration of the gas combined
with poor ventilation subjected the women and children to conditions "similar
to... the gas chambers used by the Nazis in Auschwitz."

The Difference Between Guilt and Shame
by Ann Morgan
I woke up this morning with a very interesting thought
in my head, the end result of a compilation of many different pieces of
information from various sources over a period of several years. The thought
is this: Although, to a degree, there are (unfortunately, as I will get to
later), a number of similarities between the emotions of shame and guilt,
there are also a number of important differences.

Review of Freehold
by Sean Gangol
I have just recently come across an intriguing novel
called Freehold by Michael Z. Williamson. The novel is set in a
future where the world and most of its colonies are ruled by the UN. The
life of a citizen is overburdened by regulations, which causes everything
to move slowly and inefficiently. Civil liberties are nonexistent and
people find themselves implanted with computer chips that track their every
movement. Despite the control that the world government has over citizens,
crime is considered a part of everyday life, including rape.

Night is Falling
by Jim Davidson
There is an old saying that it is better to light a single
candle than to curse the darkness. Night is falling in America. The government
is increasingly authoritarian, and increasingly bold about stealing property,
thwarting individual liberty, occupying foreign countries, massacring women
and children. Concentration camps are not a new thing in this country.

Susan Boyle, Spiritual Hunger, and Imperial Culture
The Kaptain's Log
by Kaptain Kanada, aka Manuel Miles
By now, if you have not heard of Susan Boyle, you are
unlikely to be reading thisor anything else for that matter. Ever since
the unassuming middle-aged Scottish spinster auditioned for Britain's Got
Talent a week ago the whole world has been talking about her triumphant
rendition of "I Dreamed A Dream". At this writing,in a mere six days, said
audition has been viewed at various YouTube postings over 50 million times,
and countless television newscasts, talkshows and print media have discussed
this phenomenon.

When Will They Ever Learn
by A.X. Perez
Currently the rage among drug banners is to go after
Salvia divinorum, a hallucinogenic herb from Oaxaca in Mexico.
Because banning marijuana, opium derived drugs, cocaine, LSD, meth and
other drugs worked so well. Undoubtedly it is part of a plan to help
control the current recession by inflating the price of Salvia
and creating a black market industry that requires more smugglers,
illegal growers, police, lawyers and others.

When the Goons Show Up On Your Doorstep...
by Paul Bonneau
...what are you going to do? Solzhenitsyn's "The Gulag
Archipelago" is a rather dreary book; and truth be told, I am still working
my way through it. However, in the first chapter he's expressed some thoughts
on the above problem.
