THE CURRENT ISSUE

EDITORIAL MATTERS:

PUBLISHER'S NOTE:

Elsewhere in this issue, I have written about the fear some people have today of Muslims immigrating to America. The article speaks for itself.

While I was writing it, I had a thought that didn't quite fit in, is too short for its own essay, but which I didn't want to leave unvoiced.

It is this:

Misters Colt, Smith, Wesson, or Ruger may have been Americans, born and bred, but a great many of our "liberty teeth" are immigrants themselves, often forbidden to the people living in the lands of their origin.

Your favorite "life preserver" may be Italian, a Beretta, even an Uberti. The Tanfoglios I love are Italian copies of the Czech CZ-75. It may be Austrian, a Glock. If it's an H&K or a SIG, it's German or Swiss. If it's a Tokarev or a Makarov, an AK-47 or SKS, it's Russian, or possibly a Chinese knockoff. If it's a CZ-52, it's from the Czech Republic. Stars, Astras, and Llamas are from Spain. Taurus and Rossi are Brazilian. The Kahr is manufactured in America by the family of Korea's Reverand Sun Myung Moon. And there are zillions—tens of zillions—of Hungarian, Bulgarian, Belgian, and Polish weapons scattered all over the one country in the world that truly appreciates them.

It's said there are over 750,000,000 firearms "of modern design in good working order" in America. I say let's be real internationalists in the truest meaning of that often abused word and make it an even billion.

The Muslim Menace
by L. Neil Smith
Maybe once a week, maybe oftener, I receive material of some kind—published articles, recorded speeches, or simply messages from my friends and other concerned individuals—warning me that Western Civilization is about to be overwhelmed by a middle-eastern wave of destruction.

Envies of Various Sorts
by Kathryn A. Graham
This article is meant as discussion related to L. Neil Smith's article entitled "I Told You So," Steve Lyne, Sr.'s response to same in Letters to the Editor, and L. Neil Smith's rebuttal article "Of Blue Eyes and Bambi." The topic is abortion, never an easy subject, and our society's extremely emotional attitudes toward it.

911 Film Fest part 1
Conspiracy Movie Reviews for the week of Feb 21, 2010

by Roy L. Fox
These are reviews of several films that appeared on the scene in the years after that horrific false flag attack. Many of the videos focus on the controlled demolition issue and the improbable collapse of WTC7. Also common to many films is the physical evidence disproving the US government fairy tale that a Boeing 757 crashed into the Pentagon on 911. Some of these DVDs feature video segments borrowed from earlier 911 films. We should appreciate the time and efforts of each and every one of these filmmakers to bring the truth to the public. They all rate "outstanding" as far as content, as they all document the wealth of evidence that repudiates the official government story (excepting Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911--see comments below). The ratings of the following films are heavily weighted towards production quality and how well they convey their message. You can obtain most of these videos from 911dvdproject.com

Real Unemployment
by Rob Sandwell
"Real Unemployment" It's confusing. Even if you believe the government, and I don't recommend you do, you get numbers everywhere between nine and twenty-two percent unemployment, depending on how, and who, they count. It could be more, it could be less, but everyone can tell you, it's a lot.

A Brief History of British Gun Control
(or, How to Disarm the Law Abiding Populace by Stealth)

by P.A. Luty
In 1900 the British government trusted the people with firearms and to be their own guardians. Prime Minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, the Marquess of Salisbury said he would "laud the day when there was a rifle in every cottage in England". However in 1903 Britain passed its first ever "gun control" law, a minor one requiring a permit to carry a handgun and restricting the age of purchasers. It was the first toe over a slippery slope towards complete firearms prohibition.

Of Liberty, Human Rights, and "Divisiveness"
The Kaptain's Log

by Kaptain Kanada, aka Manuel Miles
A couple of issues or so back, L. Neil Smith made the specious claim that the State has begun, as he predicted, all manner of nasty intrusions into the rights and privacy of women, and that this had happened because of opposition to abortion. He used as supposed proof of this an instance of a hospital bullying a woman when abortion was not an issue. Then he complains that people object to his red herrings.
