THE CURRENT ISSUE

EDITORIAL MATTERS:

In this issue's Letters to the Editor section Derek Benner notes that the GunPal payment system doesn't work unless the person being donated to has a GunPal account. These accounts are free, so if You the Writer wants to get paid by Them The Readers, please sign-up for a free account at www.GunPal.com using the email address you sign your letters and/or articles with.

This issue is again slightly late. At least I'm over my cold... or was it a cool? Never turned into a hot or a warm. But Our Publisher Mr. Smith now has one. It's slowing down his article writing, so I decided to wait for it.

Writers and Readers, let me know how your experience with GunPal payments is going.

The Crystal Empire is now avalable from Amazon.com in the Phoenix Pick Edition reprint.

Archimedes' .45
by L. Neil Smith
Recently, somebody directed my attention to an article, "Socrates' Gun" by Daniel Johnson on the website of the Salem (Oregon) News, questioning just about every aspect of the character of individuals who make the choice to exercise their unalienable individual, civil, Constitutional, and human right to openly carry personal weapons in public.

The Answer to Abortion
by Rob Sandwell
Any time someone tells me they are pro-life, my immediate reaction is to respond that they must be anti state. Of course, this is always shocking to them; I have yet to have someone enthusiastically reply, "Of course! I'm an anarchist! How'd you know?" But I use that shock as a way to make them stop in their tracks and consider a very simple idea. The answer to abortion is the elimination of the state.

Critique of Anarkismo
by Jim Davidson
A friend of mine on Facebook composed a note about a web site she had seen. Perhaps if there were any interest, I could send along an essay I've written about Facebook and some of the things you can do with it. My friend Diana bases her text on this link: http://anarkismo.net/about_us which she basically copied into her note for her friends to review. She tagged several of her friends to draw our attention to the note, inviting comments. Here are my thoughts in response.

Corporate Free Speech
by A.X. Perez
There are many sins to be laid at the figurative feet of the 14th Amendment. At best it is a reinforcement of the Supremacy Clause (as applied to the Bill of Rights) and the Privileges and Immunities and Full Faith and Credit Clauses. Somewhat neutrally it transfers the power to define citizenship and citizens' right from the states to the central government. I say somewhat neutrally only in comparison to the language it contains punishing the Southern States for exercising their right to secession (as was taught even in West Point to men who were expected to make a career of defending the Constitution and the rights it guaranteed) and losing the War of Yankee Aggression.

911 Film Fest part 4
Conspiracy Movie Reviews for the week of March 14, 2010

by Roy L. Fox
It seems our mainstream media, the best that money can buy, is going into hyperdrive in their effort to demonize the 911 truth movement. Like jackals, they were pouncing on the "news" that Pentagon shooter John Bedell was an "anti-government extremist" and that he believed in US government complicity in the 911 attacks (gasp!). Amazing how quickly this storyline was picked up by all the television networks and major newspapers. Clearly, the establishment is getting more desperate in their attempts to suppress the truth and stifle the demands for real justice. These smear tactics will fail, and more people will wake up to the fact that the media has been lying to them about 911 and many other issues. For the sake of the thousands murdered on 911 and the million needlessly slaughtered by our military in Iraq and Afghanistan, we must never let this issue rest. How about sponsoring 911 Film Fests with your friends and neighbors?
