Pallases in the Air
by L. Neil Smith
From Ayn Rand's Anthem and Atlas Shrugged to Robert Heinlein's
The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, science fiction is the literature of libertarianism. That's
because science fiction is this civilization's only remaining literature of ideas. Everything
elseincluding the murder mystery genre Rand recommended, but which now seems to be the
exclusive property of feminists, or at least of femalesis rightly, tightly, rooted in the
obsolete views and values of a collectivist establishment.

Sixty Wasted Years
by Jim Davidson
So, tonight I hung up on a decent, kind old man. The fact that I was tired, that
I'd been up since the day before, that my mother's dog is quite probably going to die despite our
trip to the emergency on-call vet'sthat doesn't excuse what I did. And I'm not writing this note
to excuse my action, nor to apologise, because I did what I thought was the right thing to do. And I
still think so.

An Open Letter to Felipe Calderon
by A.X. Perez
Estimado Senor Presidente, You will excuse me if the rest of this letter is
in English or more properly Spanglish as I tend to toss in some pocho when I get agitated. Hopefully
some American metiche will pass this on to you with an accurate translation. More likely it will
only provide enlightenment and entertainment to Yanqui opponents to tyranny. Nevertheless it is
being submitted for publication and hopefully a copy will be forwarded to you.

Ex Post Facto Assumptions
by Rob Sandwell
I suggest you try a simple social experiment. Go to your friends and ask them
why we have public schools. Or public roads. Or the military. Or any other supposed public good.

Alex Jones Film Fest Part IIThe Police State Films
by Roy L. Fox
Alex Jones' films documenting the "Police State" in America are some of the
most powerful full length videos available on this subject. As mentioned in my earlier commentary,
this is one of the areas that Jones does his best reporting and analysis. Although sometimes
stumbling on points of style and presentation, Alex's presentation of the militarization of law
enforcement and the devolution of our peace officers into heavily armed thugs is undeniable.
Sometimes the documentation of this state of affairs can be overwhelming to some people.
Nevertheless, these films can be excellent tools to wake people up from the illusion that we
live in a free country. Many of these films are available on youtube or DVDs can be purchased
through Infowars.com which include package discounts.

Why Rand Paul's Primary Victory Isn't Fixing Everything
by Jim Davidson
Rand Paul just won his primary in Kentucky for the USA Senate. So now he'll get
GOP support, presumably, and lots of military contractor money for his campaign. Why would defence
contractor companies like Boeing and Lockheed eagerly contribute to his campaign? Because Rand Paul
is a jingoistic war monger with very poor policies on civil liberties articulated on his web site.
He has conveniently (for him) removed his Afghanistan statements from the list of issues visible on
his home page. It is not clear to me how voting for a declaration of war makes him any better on the
issue of an unjust war in Afghanistan.

Rand Paul: The Tea Party Can Have Him
by Russell D. Longcore
So Dr. Rand Paul, son of Texas Congressman Ron Paul, is the newly nominated
Kentucky Republican candidate for US Senate. Dr. Paul wants to be a DC criminal and is fighting
hard to get his chance. Think that's too harsh? Sorry to ruffle your delicate sensibilities. In
my article entitled "Criminal Congressional Compromise", I show that accomplices and accessories
to crime are entitled to the same sentence as the main perpetrators. And plenty of crimes come
out of the US Senate.
