Nothing like the onset of winter to make a feller start feeling bad in
general. Except maybe the onset of winter in an election year. Of course
these days every year seems to be an election year. Or at least a
campaign year. Any civilization that has year-round election campaigns
does not deserve to survive.
In other news, not only am I already tired of winter, after tonight's
exposure in the grocery store, I'm sick of Christmas music already.
What this country needs is a good set of 5-cent earplugs. Oh, wait,
I've got some cheap foam ones sitting in a zip-lock bag on my desk. Awrite.
