An article I wrote last week seems to have stung certain state party
officialitos, even though it was primarily intended for the chair-
warmers and hangers-on in the national LP. Where is it written that
"The guilty flee where no man pursueth"?
The article contendedwith evidencethat the Libertarian Party
would be in much better shape today if they had begun listening to
and following my advicewhich consists principally of growing a
set where controversial issues are concernedyears ago.
Decades, even.
Rank-and-file members should understand clearly that those they have,
perhaps unwisely, voted into office have responded by requesting that
I not send them my nasty old mailings any more, in essence, sticking
their fingers in their ears, squinching their eyes shut, and chanting
"I am not listening to L. Neil Smith!" over and over again.
Very adult.
