Special to L. Neil Smith's The Libertarian Enterprise I have caught a lot of hell from Obama lovers for this song, and a goodly bit from Romney lovers as well. And my response has been the same every time. "I despise Obama, and I detest Romney. The primary difference between them is the letter after their names, and Romney worked (sort) for a living at one time. All my pro-Romney friends keep telling me "Maybe he DID get Romneycare in Massachussetts, but he has promised to repeal Obamacare because it is un-Constitutional!!" Yesterday, he proved that I was right and they were wrong. He is NOT going to keep that campaign promise. "I'm not going to get rid of all of healthcare reform" Like I have maintained, he's just another fucking socialist bastard. Vote for Rombama if you want. Or Obamney if you prefer. A 2-headed coin for the continuing socialization of America. I have for a long time told people that I use three things as a litmus test, when nothing else works. So, test one, socialized medicine, has received the final nail in the coffin. So test two needs to be considered. I happen to oppose abortion (not for religious reasons, but we can argue that one in the body of the comment section), except in cases of rape or to save the life of the mother. And I admit to having doubts about my stance. If I look at things from a Libertarian (which I primarily am) standpoint, I should be gung ho for it. And Obamney and Rombama get failing grades from me on that. So, my final litmus test is their actual record on guns and victim disarmament. Their WHOLE record. BHO has an abysmal record, from his "bitter clinger" comments to his record in the Illinois Senate, to his current statements about gun control. His support of the UN small Arms Proliferation Treaty, and his ban on returning over 1 million highly collectible US made WWII garands for the collectors market are more points against him. He gets a failing grade from me. MR gets a piss-poor mark as well. he was Governor of Massachussetts, one of the most rabidly anti-gun states in America. and he made not one attempt to ameliorate their draconian system. He fails as well. I have maintained that 4 more years of Obama will be the death of America as we know it. And I was going to swallow my puke and vote for Romney, solely because of his promise to repeal Obamacare. He has rescinded the promise. I rescind mine. Romney has made it clear that Democrat or Republican, we ARE going to be a European socialist country. So I do not know exactly who I will vote for. But it won't be Rombama or Obamney. THAT is now for sure. A thrown away vote? maybe. But at least I didn't compromise my principles. Mine eyes have seen the horror of Obama as our lord He hath forced upon us healthcare that the country can't afford He hath scared off all the cowards on the mighty Supreme Court Obama marches on! (chorus) Horror horrible Obama Horror horrible Obama Horror horrible Obama But Romeny sucks the same! (verse 2) Romney is the reject that Republicans adore But he's the frigging idiot who opened up that door HE created all the crap Obama fed the poor And Healthcare marches on! (chorus)
