We Had That Conversation
by Carl "Bear" Bussjaeger
In the wake of the Newtown murders, I see a meme popping up amongst
the gun banners/victim disarmers. They say we need a "conversation" on guns in America.
A common sub-argument is that pro-gun people need to stop saying "No" every time those
who prefer a disarmed populace suggest more restrictions on the honest folks who didn't
kill any innocents in Newton. We already had that conversation.

That So-Called "Conversation"
by Paul Bonneau
Have you noticed how the "conversation" on gun control is conducted?
First, the Ministry of Propaganda interviews only gun prohibitionists and a few turncoat
gun owners on TV (although Piers Morgan made a big mistake having Larry Pratt on his show).
And the starting point of this "conversation" is that something has to be done, and that
something is some form of additional victim disarmament.

NC Governor Bev Perdue: Pardon the Wilmington Ten
by Wayne Moore
When I was 19, a prosecutor framed me and nine other civil rights
activists for firebombing a building in Wilmington, NC. We were dubbed the Wilmington
Ten, convicted by a jury that included multiple KKK members, and sentenced to 29 years
in prison.

Want to Ban Our Guns? Then Lead by Example, Mr. President
by Neale Osborn
All over the place, we are being bombarded by politians saying that
guns are the problem. They want to ban what they incorrectly term "Assault Weapons", high
capacity magazines, concealed carry permits, handguns, and to outlaw using firearms in
self defense. The leaders of this movement are Democrat politicians who habitually travel
with armed guards. So I say it is time to lead us poor gun-rights advocates by example.
Remove those Mini-Uzi submachineguns from the Secret Service. Confiscate their handgns.
Disarm the police escorts they get when they venture among their subjects. If I can't
use one to defend MY family or self, then THEY shouldn't be allowed to use them to defend
themselves. Or is a politician's life more important than a citizen's life? (Methinks
their answer, if honest, would be "YES!")

They Demand and Expect Abject Submission. No.
by A.X. Perez
The hoplophobes are on a roll,at least in their own heads. They are
absolutely sure that they are going to get a ban out of current circumstances that they
can imagine no need to compromise, no need to offer trade offs. Just as an intellectual
exercise suggest acompromise. and it will be shrugged off. No one will be offered a
bridge to nowhere, no one will have military base or research projects moved to their district.

Coercive Government: Obsolete?
by Brian Wright
A few days ago I posted in Facebook regarding Next News Network.
Let's have high hopes and generate some funding and pledging to Gary Franchi's Next
News Network, airing its maiden broadcast on December 22, 2012. Initially, it will be
Internet based but no doubt the time has come for a broadcast alternative network of
news and 'Controller'-agenda-free information for the worldwide community of real
human beings with real independent minds.

An Amazing Day
by Cathy L.Z. Smith
Fall 2012 classes are over (hooray!), and I did better than I expected
to do (rough semester). I'm officially "on vacation" until January 2, 2013. And I'm not at
all sad to see the end of 2012. On the other hand, I met some really cool people this year,
and learned some new things about people I thought I'd "known" all along.
