Ya don't mess around with Kim.... The video isn't the clearest, but this guy appears to attack a woman in a mall, and you can see where it gets him! [LINK] LOVE IT!!!!!

I won't be watching the Superbowl this years. And here's why. [LINK] I don't know this Colin Noir from Adam;s housecat, but I gotta say I like his style. Watch the whole thing. He makes some excellent points. ESPECIALLY telling is when he starts talking about WHY the NFL banned an ad from a firearms company. Apparently, the NFL's excuse was because of Hernandez and one other player's run in with the law regarding guns. Colin's point? Banning gun ads over two "idiots" who screw up with a gun is pretty damned hypocritical when dozens of players get DUIs every year but the NFL plays more beer ads than football during the Superbowl. And he's right. Again, watch the video. It plays the banned advertisement for Daniel Defense, then Mr. Noir gives an erudite lecture on NFL hypocrisy. Enjoy it. I did!!

The BATFE is emulating the DOJ's Operation Fast and Furious (aka Gunwalker), only taking it a step further. This time THEY are running the shops breaking the law. And they are targeting mentally disabled people while doing it. [LINK] They sold a criminal a shotgun, told him how to saw it off, then arrested him for possessing it!

Agents pressed suspects for specific firearms that could fetch tougher penalties in court. They allowed felons to walk out of the stores armed with guns. In Wichita, agents suggested a felon take a shotgun, saw it off and bring it back—and provided instructions on how to do it. The sawed-off gun allowed them to charge the man with a more serious crime

and

As they did in Milwaukee, agents in other cities offered sky-high prices for guns, leading suspects to buy firearms at stores and turn around and sell them to undercover agents for a quick profit. In other stings, agents ran fake pawnshops and readily bought stolen items, such as electronics and bikes—no questions asked—spurring burglaries and theft. In Atlanta, agents bought guns that had been stolen just hours earlier, several ripped off from police cars

Great law enforcement, isn't it?

Now, lets look at a quick rundown of where the President really stands on the issues:

  • Renews support for gun control through UN Arms Trade Treaty (Nov 2012)
  • Calls to renew the Assault Weapons Ban (Oct 2012)
  • I believe in 2nd Amendment, but not war weapons on streets. (Oct 2012)
  • Fast-and-Furious: no prosecutions for Mexican gun/drug snafu. (Jun 2012)
  • Tells Sarah Brady will continue to push gun control "under the radar" (March 2011)
  • Opposed bill okaying illegal gun use in home invasions. (Aug 2008)
  • Ok for states & cities to determine local gun laws. (Apr 2008)
  • FactCheck: Yes, Obama endorsed Illinois handgun ban. (Apr 2008)
  • Respect 2nd Amendment, but local gun bans ok. (Feb 2008)
  • Provide some common-sense enforcement on gun licensing. (Jan 2008)
  • 2000: cosponsored bill to limit purchases to 1 gun per month. (Oct 2007)
  • Concealed carry OK for retired police officers. (Aug 2007)
  • Stop unscrupulous gun dealers dumping guns in cities. (Jul 2007)
  • Keep guns out of inner cities—but also problem of morality. (Oct 2006)
  • Bush erred in failing to renew assault weapons ban. (Oct 2004)
  • Ban semi-automatics, and more possession restrictions. (Jul 1998)
  • Voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers. (Jul 2005

Pretty accurate summation of his piss-poor record. Thanks to reality Check for the link.

From Mama Liberty, a good one. [LINK]

This is a story based on things I witnessed as a hospice nurse over many years. It is a composite, with elements from several cases, but very true nonetheless. Incidents like this happen all the time, especially in the nursing homes and "assisted living" arrangements.

So, get out your tissues and prepare to think hard about your own choice of gifts for those who need your love more than anything else.

I've seen similar to the content of the story. And it's sad but true. Give them a REAL gift this Christmas. After all they did for you....

Unless something major happens the next two weeks, I'm probably taking off from rant writing until the new year. Enjoy the holiday season, and FUCK political correctness—This atheist says:

Merry Christmas and a Happy Chanukah (even though Chanukah was actually on Thanksgiving this year) and a prosperous New Year!!
