For all of those I hear wondering what they can do to
advance the cause of liberty: promote the idea of
amending the Constitution with a Bill of Rights penalty clause.

Moo
by L. Neil Smith
I've been thinking about current events all week, especially our low, miserable betrayal by country club Republicans, and I've come to a conclusion that many readers may feel disturbed by or chagrined about, as it pleases them. It first arose during an argument online about the brief document I've written and appended to most of my e-mail for quite a long while, now. Intended to correct the Founding Fathers' gravest omission, it is a penalty clause for the Bill of Rights.

What my article 'Voter ID, Booze, and Guns... the Solution to all Our Ills" was actually about
by Neale Osborn
Last week, I wrote the above-referenced article, (also published as "Voter ID, Booze, and Guns... The Compromise Solution" in The Libertarian Enterprise) to test all you precious smarmy liberals who love to claim gun rights supporters cannot compromise. And to you people, compromise is the only way to "get things done" in politics. I despise compromise, for a simple reason—you people ALWAYS want ME to compromise MY principles, and YOU never compromise one shred. But I decided to test you all. I published the article in 4 places. And in ALL of them, only 2 people acknowledged I was compromising.

Neale's Weekly Gun Rant Volume 6-8-2014
by Neale Osborn
As is our wont, we shall start off with another excellent Mama Liberty piece: Do you drive frequently in heavy traffic? Aren't all the other drivers complete strangers? You have no idea what their intentions are or their competence to operate a vehicle—and the "driver's license" is certainly no guarantee of competence, of course. Are you in constant fear that someone will deliberately cause a wreck? Or do you simply drive as safely as you know how and hope everyone else does the same? Yes, "accidents" happen, but you actually must trust that it won't, to a great extent, or you wouldn't leave the house—or a mental hospital. Think about that.

An excellent summary of the whole climate subject is here:

25 Images Show That Climate 'Changes' — Whether or Not Man Does Anything About It
by Kyle Becker
“Manmade climate change.” We’ve all heard the catchphrase before (well, at least until politicians realized that “global warming” could easily be falsified by uncooperative temperature data). But wouldn’t “climate change” whether man was here or not? Do government bureaucrats who can’t even run Amtrak or the Post Office actually think they can control the weather like a thermostat?

So those people who want a fascist dictatorship to control the climate, just actually want... a fascist dictatorship.
