Fair Warning!
by L. Neil Smith
Since the terrorist shootings in Orlando (where the modern concealed-carry
movement actually began in the early 1970s) the "Progressive" bonnet-bee that we should simply
skip around that pesky old Constitution, with its Bill of Rights, and even worse, its nasty
Second Amendment, has become highly fashionable among the mentally and morally challenged on
the Left. Some socialist morons, abysmally ignorant of history, even suggest repealing the
Second Amendment, unaware (A) that it protects a human right that already existed thousands of
years before the Constitution, and (B) that the Bill of Rights was ratified as a block—repeal
one, you repeal 'em all—on which ratification of the entire document was contingent. No Bill
of Rights, no Constitution. No Constitution, no government. No government, no power.

Thoughts on the Schubert Piano Sonata in B flat major, D.960
by Richard Blake
If I add up the hours I have spent listening to music and the hours
spent doing anything else, the list of my published works gives an unbalanced view of my
interests. Even when I am not listening to music, there is something playing in my head.
There is music playing in my dreams. Every memory in over half a century of life is
associated with some piece of music. I first noticed the obsession when I was five, and
I walked into a room in my grandmother's house where the wireless was playing the Blue
Danube. Somehow, I already knew the piece, as I could recognise where the A major
introduction was heading. I felt pleased with myself when the principal waltz theme
confirmed that I was right. I now realise that, as I sat on the floor and listened to
the whole piece, I was totally and hopelessly lost.

I'm Going To Blame the Victims
by Paul Bonneau
Captain Mal Reynolds of "Firefly" fame once said, "Someone ever tries
to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back." It's a hard point to argue against, maybe an
impossible one. Other than boogying, if that option is available, what other course of action is there?

Beware of Psychiatrists, Buddies of the Statists
by Nic Leobold
Freedom-loving Sovereign American individuals have to beware of
dangerous psychiatry and psychiatrists. These licensed medical virtual witch doctors
practice unproven, speculative quack "medicine" with full state licenses and government
sanction and in the process of their quack medicine victimize millions of individuals
across the country and perhaps hundreds of millions worldwide.

Murder by Gun Control
by L. Neil Smith
Why is everybody being so damned polite? No sane individual living
in the last days of the 20th century would knowingly welcome Nazis, the KGB, the Khmer
Rouge, the ATF, or the FBI into their homes. We've learned too much from what happened
to Jews in Germany, Kulaks in Russia, "landlords" in China, everybody in Cambodia, and
victims of state terrorism at Ruby Ridge and Waco. But let the Jackbooted Thugs' Ladies'
Auxiliary slap on makeup and broomstick skirts, let them prattle in squeaky little girl
voices and breathe their vegetarian breath all over us, and for some reason we think we
have to ask them in and offer them chamomile tea. Well, to hell with that. I used to
give a lecture at the local university that began like this: "Until this morning you
could plead ignorance for positions you take or fail to take on the moral and political
issues of the day. When you leave this classroom an hour from now, having heard the facts
I'm about to present, it'll either be as a brand new libertarian, or as a fully self-aware fascist
monster."

The Norseman's Diaries Part II: Return of the Cicadas
by Jeff Fullerton
A few weeks ago I started writing this article which was intended as a
follow up for the previous entry and intended to document what I thought was going to be a
great vacation in which not only did I knock out a few projects—but that long awaited
trip or two that I've always wanted to write about.

What Shall I Write Next?
by L. Neil Smith.
Father's day it sez here. So call yer dad. I can't
call mine on account of he died a couple years ago.
I guess 90-years was too much for him. He'd be 101
if he was still with us.
Well, does anyone still think islam is the religion of
peace? Looks more like the religion of murder to me.
It is important to remember the terrorists are just
doing what their religion commands them to do. This
needs some thinking about.
And here are some thoughts about that:
