The Red Flag Council
by L. Neil Smith
In America, the highest law of the land consists of the
first ten amendments to the United States Constitution, commonly known as
Bill of Rights. Unlike the remainder of the Constitution (which merely
serves as an “operating system” for the government), The Bill of Rights is
the exclusive property of the American people, their guarantee of liberty,
and the essential condition, historically, on which the rest of the
Constitution was ratified.

Going Home
by Sarah A. Hoyt
When I was a little kid, in the North of Portugal, in
5th and 6th grade, I had the option of taking a crowded bus home or walking
a couple of miles through a path, next to a ravine, by the side of the train
line. Being me, of course, if it was at all warm, I took that—not
particularly safe—path and I had the habit of singing Take Me Home
Mountain Roads at the top of my voice.

Krios and the Gig Economy

Did you know that over $1.4 trillion of economic activity
in the United States arises from people in the freelance “gig” economy? It‘s true!

On the Lighter Side of SJWs
by Sean Gangol
For once I decided to write an article about the more
amusing aspects of Social Justice Warriors. Don’t get me wrong, I believe
that these people are becoming a greater threat to individual liberty and
possibly the sanctity of the English language every day. Though there are
times when their antics do make for a good laugh. First you have the SJW’s
that have become popular internet memes, such as Triggerly Puff Girl (who
could get enough of a college student at a conservative speaking event
waving her arms around like a toddler throwing a tantrum at a Wal-Mart?)
Then there was a college student who threw a trash can against the wall of
her campus to show her frustration at not being able to prevent anybody from
attending one of Milo Yiannopoulos’ speaking engagements. What I find the
most amusing about these particular SJW’s is that it seems as if they have
all become parodies of themselves, which means that It is getting harder to
tell the difference between actual SJW’s and those parodying them.

From the Rust Belt to the Asteroid Belt & Latest News From Greater Appalachia:
9/11 Remembered & The Crisis Industry Complex
by Jeff Fullerton
This was the week. A coupe years shy of twenty since
the planes hit the World Trade Center in New York City—a day that would go
down in infamy much like the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that propelled
America into World War II and forever changed the way we operated as a nation.

Speaking Up
by Harding McFadden
I have to wonder some times if the frontrunners on the
Left are actively pushing for a bloodbath. There can be no other explanation
for their constant attacks on Bill of Rights advocates. I can see no other
sane reason why they would constantly be calling for what the esteemed El
Neil calls Victim Disarmament in the wake of shootings carried out by
lunatics who wouldn’t abide by any law they pass in the first place. Do they
want us dead? Is that what they’re really up to?

Ayn Rand‘s Greatest Mistake
by L. Reichard White
It was those heady early days of the Libertarian Movement.
Icons like David Nolan, Murray Rothbard and James Libertarian Burns still
walked the earth—and L. Neil Smith was just getting up a head of steam.
That‘s when I got my first clue to Ayn Rand‘s greatest
mistake, though, as often happens, I failed to understand it at the time. It
came as Larry Moser and I gave a talk to the Las Vegas Junior Chamber of
Commerce (the “JCs”).
