The Problem With France
by L. Neil Smith
Each and every individual possesses an undeniable
human right to believe any kind of nonsensical jabberwockey he
wishes. But it was with an odd mixture of pity and frustration that I
read about a French schoolteacher, Samuel Paty, who was beheaded by a
violent Muslim religious zealot for teaching his classes about the
famous caricatures of the prophet Muhammed published by Charlie
Hebdo magazine, the French equivalent of National Lampoon
a few years ago. The same kind of mindless animals had murdered
twelve innocent people at the satirical weekly and wounded eleven
others for no better reason than that they believed they had some
kind of divine right to limit the freedom of other human beings.
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has recently warned Westerners that
freedom of speech “ends on contact with Islam” (Minnesotans take
note), and that it is no defense against insulting Islam. We must all submit and obey.

Speak
by Sarah A. Hoyt
On the first weekend of this month, at the meeting
with my fans at Pete’s Kitchen on Colfax, a young and enthusiastic
fan/friend/adopted nephew got to talking about politics. He is not a
leftist, and he was speaking very loudly.

Mene Mene
by Jim Davidson
For those of you who have been wondering what comes
next, I believe the most likely thing to expect is that the
extraordinarily evil people in the deep state have determined to
impose a “failed state” on the United States. Exactly how that comes
to pass, I'm not sure, but here are some of the things to consider
and if you wish, to prepare yourself to face.

New York Slimes
by Dan Hoyt
The NYT takes what SHOULD be a human-interest story
about how people’s livelihoods are being threatened by the current
COVID-19 situation and turns it into a blatant attempt to manipulate
voters. For shame!

It Can Happen Here (And How It Can)
by Stratton Davis
It happened. The people of Lebanon stood up
against their government and rejected it’s currency, the Lebanese
pound, in favor of bitcoin. They did this because of how bad the
Lebanese pound has depreciated. It has faced a 20% depreciation since
April. As of right now the Lebanese pound is trading for more than
5,000 per $1 US Dollar. The people of Lebanon would not stop there,
however. They decided to take things a little further.

This Election
by Sean Gangol
If you had told me five-years-ago that I would find
myself supporting a reality star and a crony-capitalist like Donald
Trump for the presidency, I would have thought that you were pulling
my chain. Yet, I find myself supporting the Don once again for the
2020 election. To say that Trump wasn’t my first choice for the
presidency, would be an understatement. At one point I wasn’t even
sure that I was going to vote during the 2016 election, until I
decided that I could stomach a Trump presidency much easier than
living under the reign of Hillary Clinton. Afterall, Donald Trump
seemed to love this country, while Hillary Clinton seem to subscribe
to the amoral, American hating philosophy of Saul Alinsky. I also
enjoyed how this man was able to easily trigger the snowflakes on the
left. Just writing his name on a sidewalk was able to work the woke
students of Emory University into a frenzy. Though what really
changed my mind about voting for Trump was the arrogant way that all
the major news networks told us that Trump didn’t have a shot in hell
of winning, since Trump was so behind Hillary in the polls.

The Norseman’s Diaries: Survival with Style and Showdown at Season’s End
by Jeff Fullerton
The Milestone Year going on ten months. That’s how
long it’s been since I proclaimed 2020 to be that year back at the
end of 2019 in a belated supplemental edition of the Diaries. And
that’s what it’s mostly been since then. A collection of supplemental
entries thrown together through the season whenever I had time—often
at the last minute because time apart from work (my real job) and an
ambitious series of projects was scarce.

Crappy Days
by L. Neil Smith
It says right here (in Breitbart) that the original
cast members of the once-popular television series Happy Days
are getting back together to campaign and raise money for the
Harris-Biden campaign. Now believe me, I’m usually content leaving
people to go to hell in their own bucket. Many celebrities I had
admired for years, people like Sam Eliot, for example, like Jim
Belushi, or Linda Ronstadt have announced that they’re pimping for
Joe. (Please don’t tell me about Maria Muldaur; I don’t want to
know.) I admit that Stevie Nicks hurt a little, but she didn’t really
surprise me. The cast of Seinfeld, on the other hand, didn’t
bother me a bit; just look at them: each and every one of them is a
self-evident idiot and I never watched a single episode of the show
that proudly proclaimed it was about nothing.
