L. Neil returns in high dudgeon on another idea for a campaign to get our liberties back.
Benjamin Williams unpacks Soviet Russia's and Stalin's terrible complicity in the Holocaust. Williams doesn't say so, so I will: this connection puts the left's claims to support socialism in an even less favorable light.
Eric Oppen draws on a historical character and a fictional one to illustrate the problem with affirmative action.

Thomas Cromwell. Lavrenti Beria. Now Igor Strelkov. The state always consumes its own. Sooner or later. "‘I pulled the trigger on the war’ In 2014, Igor Strelkov orchestrated shooting down a passenger jet over Ukraine. Today, he was arrested for criticizing Putin on social media. Meduza explains"
One in Six Democrats Believes Violence Is Justified to Restore Abortion: Poll and for other causes. This could get sticky, folks.
Apparently it doesn't matter how long a country has had traditions of free speech. They are at risk. Sweden and Denmark bow to pressure over Quran book burnings Everyone should have the right to insult Islam, says Brendan O’Neill. "I find the idea of a government trampling on the speech rights of its citizens far more offensive than protesters trampling on a copy of the Koran. It’s the bonfire of the liberties, not the occasional burning of a religious text, that should horrify us." Exactly so.
