From Bradley Harrington via Mama Liberty. [Link] Zombies are not as much fun OR as unlikely) as we'd like to think.

Some are going to ask me my take on Ft Hood. It was an entirely preventable tragedy. We had 45,000 trained people who know full well how to use arms. They carry them all day, every day, when stationed overseas. We put them in a huge fort, deny them the weapons we provided them to begin with, and let a psycho shoot them up. It was easily preventable by simply NOT disarming the soldiers on base. And we can fully expect various and sundry bottom feeders, er, politicians to try to cash in on this tragedy like they always do, and use it to advance their agenda.

Passed on by my good friend Tony from Colorado Springs.

This retired general needs a serious reality check.... his "justification" for not allowing troops to have personal weapons is preposterous! He claims "imagine the confusion for the first responders if everyone has weapons". Well general, let me flip'n enlighten you to a simple fact—when a**holes like this discover that their "victims" are capable of returning fire, the entire incident is usually over in less than a minute!! By the time the SECOND responders get there (because the FIRST responders will be those troops who are armed!), there will be no confusion.... everyone on scene will be calm and point the second responders to the corpse! No confusion! If the a**hole is still alive after the initial exchange, I should hope they would rectify that situation ASAP.

[Link]

As a recently retired senior NCO, he has a very accurate understanding of the rules and regulations pertaining to firearms on base AND what would happen to a criminal shooter if he tried EITHER of the Ft Hood shootings.

This kid gets it. The cops do not bother to pay attention to what the kid says. Then, after lying to him about being free to go, they tase and arrest him. [Link]

At what seemed to be the end of the encounter, the officer told Vichique he was free to go, but he was going to be followed home for his own safety.

"You are not under arrest. You are free to go," an officer said in the video. "You're just going to happen to walk home, and I'm just going to happen to make sure you get home safely—and as soon as you get home safely, you will never see us again."

That's when another officer arrived who had other ideas.

Vichique is ordered to surrender the gun and refuses because he has not been placed under arrest. Guess what happens next.

Watch the video. Those cops are fucking assholes.

Detroit goes bankrupt, the Chief of Police James Craig tells people to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights, and dead criminals start piling up. 3 wins for the price of one! [Link]

"It does appear more and more Detroiters are becoming empowered," Craig said. "More and more Detroiters are getting sick of the violence. I know of no other place where I've seen this number of justifiable homicides. It's interesting that these incidents go across gender lines."...

Among the recent incidents:

-On March 7, a woman in her 50s shot and killed a man trying to break into her home in the 22000 block of Grove Street. She heard noises at her rear window and shot the intruder in the chest.

-At 2 a.m. Feb. 22, two men broke into a house on the city's southwest side; the homeowner shot both men. A 21-year-old man died and the other man escaped.

-Earlier on Feb. 22, at 12:30 a.m., a woman who was surprised by a gunman when she pulled her car into the garage was able to reach for her own gun and fatally shoot the man.

-A woman on Feb. 17 opened fire on three teens who kicked in her door. The alleged intruders, ages 14, 14 and 15, were caught by police and charged with home invasion....

"This should be a message to those who continue to perpetuate violence on Detroiters that enough is enough. You've got to be concerned about good Detroiters who aren't going to stand for it," Craig said. "Detroiters are fed up and they are taking action."

And to all the naysayers who say it never happens, and the police are the only ones who can fight crime, I give you a hearty "LIARS!!" And remember, Detroit has a lot of minorities—No, you racist bastard, I'm not blaming the crime of minorities, I'm telling you the minorities are finally standing up for themselves, and taking out criminals. Like the Mom I referenced a few weeks ago who used her rifle to defend herself and her kids—a BLACK woman.

Even not knowing the details, I find this video sickening. [Link] IF the cop had a warrant, he would have been accompanied by at least one fellow cop, so I doubt there was a warrant. no matter the reason, the cop does NOT have it right when he tells his victim "You answer to me me."

The clip begins with the officer forcibly entering the house, apparently without a warrant, before telling 26-year-old Donrell Breaux he will be arrested.

Breaux reacts by saying, "You're scaring me," as he asks the cop why he is being arrested.

The officer then walks into the living room before telling Eric Banegas, the individual filming the incident, "Get out of here, I'm not talking to you," to which the youth responds, "This is my house though".

When Breaux asks the officer his name, the cop responds, "I'm not answering you, you answer to me," before tackling Breaux and attempting to handcuff him.

"You're under arrest for resisting an officer," states the cop

"Son, he's trying to take me to jail for what?.... I am scared son, I am scared," states Breaux.

"I'm asking you nicely, why are you doing this sir," asks Breaux as the cop appears to reach for his gun.

This is BS.

I reported this before, but listen to the video, where it is finally confirmed the shooter will (quite properly) not face charges for the incident. [Link] As the video says, the shooter, in an unrelated case, is facing "rape charges stemming from a sexual encounter with an under-aged girl." No other details of the charges are relayed, and "Ellis was within his rights to carry concealed with his CCW at the time of the shooting" according to the prosecutor.

The latest in a long series of egregious violations of the 4th Amendment by law enforcement, this time from the Border Patrol. [Link] Now, the ACLU and I will never be friends. They love to support imaginary rights and ignore Constitutionally enumerated ones (like, oh, the 2nd Amendment as an example) but this time, they are on the correct side. In this country, a cop (no matter which LEA he works for) needs probable cause to search a vehicle, home, or person without a warrant—and that probable cause USED to mean hot pursuit. Chase a car down, see a man get out and run into a home, the cop can enter and search the home for the fleeing person. Pull over a car and smell pot smoke, and search the car. (I do not happen to agree with these, but that's for another day.) There has NEVER been a "legal power" to simply pull someone over at random, threaten to cut their seatbelt and drag them out of the car, and search the vehicle, without a warrant or even informing the occupant of the reason why they wish to search. But that's what happened here-

While driving in the middle of nowhere, Christiansen was pulled over by Border Patrol agents who demanded she step out so they could perform a search of the vehicle. Christiansen's demands to know why she was pulled over fell on deaf ears as agents continued to insist she exit the vehicle.

"Then he comes up to my seatbelt, pulls out a knife and says, "Ma'am, do I need to cut you out of your seatbelt?" and I was like, "No, you don't need to do anything like that." I was like, "All you need to do is tell me why you pulled me over, you know? This is ridiculous. I got 2 young kids in the car," said Christiansen.

"Then he took the keys from my ignition and I was forced to get out of my vehicle. If I didn't get out of the vehicle, I felt like this man that was threatening to tase me and cut me out of my seatbelt was going to hurt me. I told my kids to stay where they were, because they were like, "Mommy, what's going on? Where are you going?" and I was like, "Just stay where you are and just watch."

Apparently, when they were done with their illegal search (which obviously netted them nothing, as she was not arrested, charged, or even ticketed for anything), they ALSO slashed one of her tires. People, it is past time that We, the People stopped tolerating this type of behavior. We need to have dash-cams with wireless capabilities installed in our cars so we can live-stream (or at least store out of police reach) film of this type of activity. We need active resistance to this behavior, and we need to enforce our rights in every way we can—by film, in court, and by gun if necessary.

The ATF again asserts that it is above the law. [Link] Please allow me to pontificate before I elucidate. Since the exact wording of the 2nd Amendment concludes with "The Right of the People to keep and Bear Arms Shall NOT BE INFRINGED" (emphasis mine) and the term "well regulated" in the words of the time meant well trained and in good working order, and that militia included ALL able bodied citizens whether they drilled or not (regular and irregular militias), there is NO CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY FOR ANY VICTIM DISARMAMENT LAWS, THE BATFE, OR ANY LOCAL, STATE, OR FEDERAL LAW REGARDING THE OWNERSHIP, SALE, TRANSFER, POSSESSION, OR CARRY OF FIREARMS, AND IS, IN FACT, SPECIFICALLY DENIED SAID AUTHORITY. Now, to the meat of the matter. First, to the relevant (anti Constitutional ) law.

Under 18 USC ยง 926, anyone in the Justice Department, including members of the ATF are categorically prohibited from seizing any records or documents other than those constituting material evidence of a violation of law.

Specifically, the law reads:

"No such rule or regulation prescribed after the date of the enactment of the Firearms Owners' Protection Act may require that records required to be maintained under this chapter or any portion of the contents of such records, be recorded at or transferred to a facility owned, managed, or controlled by the United States or any State or any political subdivision thereof, nor that any system of registration of firearms, firearms owners, or firearms transactions or dispositions be established. Nothing in this section expands or restricts the Secretary's authority to inquire into the disposition of any firearm in the course of a criminal investigation."

Once you have absorbed this bit of legalese, read the entire article. I cannot cut and paste the entire thing, even though the entire thing is absolutely relevant.

Darwin Rules! [Link] As my good friend Al P. said when he provided the [Link]

BANGKOK (Reuters)—A suspected World War II bomb exploded in the Thai capital as scrap metal workers tried to cut it open with a blow torch, killing at least seven people and injuring 19, police said.

Construction workers found the shell at a construction site and brought it to a warehouse on the outskirts of Bangkok to be cut up.

"We believe the bomb dates back to World War Two and weighed about 227 kg. As they probably did not know (what to do), they used a blow torch to try to cut open the bomb," said police superintendent Kamthorn Uicharoen.

I bet it went something like this-

"Hey, Lo fat, what do you think this thing is?"

"I dunno, but it looks like the bombs I saw on Bugs Bunny Cartoons when I was a kid. Fire up that torch and let's cut it open to see!"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wanna bet that WalMart caves on the guns, and fights for the music? [Link] church wants to sue, hell, has filed the suit, against WalMart to halt their sales of "sexually suggestive or violent music" and "Rifles capable of accepting high capacity magazines". Hey, dumbasses, ANY semi-auto that takes a detachable magazine can "Accept a high capacity magazine". Perhaps you guys should pray to God to give you enough of a brain to keep you from violating the 1st AND 2nd Amendment rights of a company. remember, the only reason idiots like you can pray to your God in the first place is because the 1st Amendment (the same one that let's people sing "sexually suggestive or violent songs) protects your rights. and in case you didn't realize it, the 1st ALSO protects YOUR right to publish the Bible, which is chock full of adultery, murder or both adults AND children, and people fucking all over the place. What a bunch or morons....

Barak Obama today announced he's leaving Michelle and plans to marry his long-time secret lover, Barney Frank.

"I mean, uh, I thought that with a name, uh, like Frank, well, he's GOTTA have a bigger dick than Michelle. And it's almost as big. But he uses HIS more gently than Michelle does.

When asked what this means for the White House, Spokesman Jay Carney said

At least we won't have to have a sour-faced bitch telling us what to do anymore. At least, until Hillary wins the office!

Note—I wrote this part on Tuesday. YOU figger it out.

It's certainly nice to see SOME of Colorado's officials (mainly sheriffs) refuse to comply with state and federal gun control laws. In addition, you simply HAVE to wonder where Colorado's Democrat Party dig their idiots up. [Link] You simply HAVE to watch the video to the end. Diana DeGette, at the end of the 2 1/2 video, tells us that by banning future manufacture of high capacity magazines, they will quickly disappear. "Why?" you ask. Her response is that the magazines are bullets. Once you've shot the magazine dry, you throw it out. So the 40 million or more in circulation will magically go away! As Sheriff Cooke says-

"They don't understand how it works because the legislator that introduced this bill, she didn't come to the sheriffs and say, 'Explain to me what a magazine is,' because she didn't even know. Then after the bill gets passed she was confronted on how a magazine could be converted, and she said, 'Oh, people will just have to live with it,'" Cooke said.

He said gun-control advocates at the federal level are no more knowledgeable on the issue, and he cited Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colo., as a prime example.

"At a debate that we had here last year, she was talking about how these 30-round magazines, once people are done shooting, they're no good anymore because you just throw them away. She has no clue about what a gun is or a magazine is, and yet she's trying to outlaw them federally," Cooke said.

And that is just ONE reason Sheriff John Cooke, one of the 55 Colorado Sheriffs who is refusing to waste time or money enforcing gun control laws (there are 62 sheriffs in toto), considers the government to be full of idiots who have no clue what they are doing. Of course, this does have a down side to it. They are NOT refusing on the grounds the laws are anti-Constitutional. No, they are refusing because

Most Colorado sheriffs are refusing to enforce new gun-control laws they consider unenforceable, saying they will not treat every citizen like a felon and won't change their plans even if a federal judge rules against them.

Fifty-five of Colorado's 62 sheriffs are in agreement on refusing to enforce the law. Weld County Sheriff John Cooke said the new rules on magazine capacity and other issues make it impossible for authorities to make arrests even if they wanted to.

So, if the idiots in Denver or DC ever write a Victim Disarmament law that IS enforceable, they will enforce it. Well, at least, it's a step in the correct direction.

Aww. poor wittle Piers, whining again because he emigrated from England and found out that America isn't England. [Link] He took the time to whine once more that America refuses to bow down and follow his beloved England into tyranny.

Morgan devoted the prime-time show's final minutes Friday night to the issue that he said has been a "consistent and often very controversial" part of "Piers Morgan Live."

The British-born host cited gun violence statistics and expressed dismay that mass shootings including those in Newtown, Conn., and Aurora, Colo., haven't led to stricter laws.

Morgan blamed politicians that he said had been bullied into "cowardly" silence by a gun lobby led by the National Rifle Association.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"To those who claim my gun control campaign has been anti-American, well, the reverse is true. I'm so pro-American I want more of you to stay alive," he said, adding, "Now it's down to you."

Note that despite his claim to love America, and that he IS an American, he refers Americans as "You" not "We" or "Us". Well, all I have to say to the Brit criminal (yeah, he's a criminal-" In February, Morgan confirmed that he was interviewed in December by British police investigating the illegal interception of telephone voicemails" in reference to his part in the illegal accessing of private e-mails during his tenure as tabloid editor in England) is "Good riddance to bad rubbish. Here's your hat, here's your coat, there's the door, GOODBYE!" We won't miss you when you're gone.

23 witnesses agree to this woman's story. The cop has changed his story 3 times. And an un-armed woman is now in her third year of surgeries to repair the damage that cop's bullet did. [Link]

As I stood in disbelief, I saw the female who was attacked come back through the doorway with her hands up and heard a popping sound—it was a taser. I knew the female; her name is Michael Roman and she is my ex-girlfriend. As I saw this happening, I ran to that side to tell the officers that she had heart trouble and electrocuting her could kill her. Officer Berryman raised his service weapon, pointed it at me, and said, "Stand down." I had my hands in the air and took a step back, begging him to stop, and suddenly I heard a pop.

My face felt like it was on fire. I had no idea what had happened at the time, but I grabbed my face on the left side and felt my middle finger slide into a large hole. As I looked at my hand, blood was dripping down my arm. I looked at him and said, "What the fuck did you just do?" I got dizzy and fell to the floor as he grabbed the manager of the club, who was my friend, and asked if the video cameras were on—before he even called for an ambulance, as I laid there dying. (I did die, and was paddled back by EMS.)

It seems to me that this woman was shot because she came to the side of her girlfriend. A hick cop tases a gay woman, then shoots her friend. Cleared by a grand jury, her only hope for justice from this cop is a civil suit. May justice FINALLY prevail.

And, at the end, the Quote of the Week.

"Reread that pesky first clause of the Second Amendment. It doesn't say what any of us thought it said. What it says is that infringing the right of the people to keep and bears arms is treason. What else do you call an act that endangers "the security of a free state"? And if it's treason, then it's punishable by death. I suggest due process, speedy trials, and public hangings."
—L. Neil Smith

And that's all I have to say for this week.
